Terms of Service

These terms describe how Shinelight Headlight Restoration ("Shinelight", "we", "us") provides mobile headlight restoration to customers in Perth, Western Australia. By requesting a quote or booking with us, you agree to these terms.

Quotes

• Quotes are based on the information and photos you provide and may change once we see the actual condition of the headlights on site.
• Quotes may also depend on your vehicle, the type of headlight and your location.
• Prices, add-ons and travel arrangements agreed with you before the job take precedence over any general information shown on this website.

Availability and bookings

• Service availability must be confirmed before a booking is considered final. Requesting a time does not by itself guarantee a spot.
• We operate as a mobile service and travel to the customer. Availability depends on your suburb and how far it is from our usual service area.
• You are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the vehicle at the agreed location (for example a driveway, kerb or workplace parking bay with enough space to work around the front of the vehicle).

Scope of the service

• Our service is exterior headlight restoration: sanding, multi-stage polishing and, when selected, a ceramic protective coating on the outside of the lens.
• Restoration results depend on the existing condition of each headlight. Deep damage, heavy pitting or aged lenses may improve significantly without becoming visually identical to a brand-new headlight.
• External restoration does not repair internal condensation, water or moisture inside the housing, broken seals, cracked lenses, internal reflector damage, electrical faults, bulb failure or other defects outside the exterior restoration scope.
• Where an issue is outside our scope, we will let you know and, where possible, suggest the type of specialist you may need.

Durability

• How long the result lasts depends on real-world factors we do not control: UV exposure, weather, whether the car is kept in a garage or outdoors, washing habits, and general maintenance.
• Any typical durability figures we mention are indicative only. We do not promise an absolute lifespan for the finish or coating.

Payments, bookings and cancellations

Payment methods, deposits, cancellations, rescheduling and any re-do arrangements are governed by what we agree with you directly for your booking. If we later publish specific terms for these, they will be added here.

Communication

Information shared through our website, Facebook Messenger, Instagram and other messaging channels is general in nature. The final scope of work is the one we confirm with you for the specific job.

Information we receive when you contact us is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
